Twenty arguments and twenty failures that are only convincing to those that already believe.

And for fuck's sake, Pascal's wager is on there. It seems pretty desperate to include that on a list of arguments for god's existence, because not only is it a total failure, it doesn't even attempt prove god's existence.

I would be absolutely embarrassed if I believed and these were the best arguments I could find, not flaunting them as some sort of amazing achievement.

We got about six versions of the Argument From First Cause, four variations on the Argument From Design, a couple of Appeals To Incredulity, at least one Argument From Popularity, two Because I Say Sos and PASCAL'S WAGER.

But we get the "Argument from common consent!" What more could you want? Lots of people believe it, therefore it's true!

It is a bit boring to me at this time. In a discussion forum, you would expect a member to discuss something, instead of someone spamming threads without any input. Max failes to take part of the forum, only spamming links. Hit & run threads are not satisfactory.---
