Whilst I was supportive of the decision to find Zimmerman "not guilty" based on the evidence (including eye-witness testimony) that he was attacked by Martin and likely found himself fearing his life, I don't have any sympathy for him if this new charge turns out to be supported by the evidence.

It's one thing to use a gun in self-defense. It's another to use it against someone to try and intimidate them into leaving. Even if she was destroying his stuff as he claims, that is something you get the courts to deal with, not something you need to get a gun out for. I haven't properly looked at both sides of the story yet, or any of the evidence (if it's even public) so I'm not going to jump to conclusions, but if he did what he is now accused of doing, he deserves to be punished.
