Death is just death to me. I don't find it beauteful or horrible. Dying however can be pretty bad.
Life is valuable to me but not in all kinds. Some life to me is worse then death. And what kind of life the person will have largely depends on chance(parents, genes, people you meet, the affect world has on you and so on and so forth).

Being a theist, I am inclined to believe that there is more than just "nothingness" when I die. I don't exactly know what to expect, and if there is such thing as hell, I would be terrified. However, the overwhelming majority on this site believe that once you die, it is lights out. I would accept this. I would rather there be no afterlife than an afterlife where there is a chance of pain and suffering. Therefore, dying and ceasing to exist would be painless, and if I ever find out for a fact that there is no afterlife, I will agree with you.

Hullo. Please don't go around resurrecting the dead. Most of those people aren't even here anymore.

And maybe drop an intro in the intro subforum if you want?

Most people fear death because their life isn't only about pain and things that bother them.  It's about the things they love, and a desire not to have never to see their families, their friends, their favorite places, and so on, again.

Since it's been resurrected.

Worked in A&E and during several major incidences around the world.

Death is not beautiful.

It may be natural but it's nothing like beautiful. Statements like that are usually made by people who have never seen it first hand, who have never sat with a dying person.
Dying to live, living to die.

Being afraid of death is instinctive. Are you telling me that you would not be afraid if you were in an airplane and it started falling? Or if someone broke into your house and held a gun to your head?

With that being said, death is a part of life and that's ok. It's the way it's meant to be. Though I wouldn't necessarily call it "beautiful."
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
