Atheist sexuality

RE: Atheist sexuality
Eh, I have not had sex in years, and I am fine with that.

I was a virgin until I turned twenty, I have only had a couple handfuls of sexual partners in my thirty-four years on this earth, and I am quite comfortable being celibate. Sex has never been something which I particularly enjoy, which is why I do not mind being celibate.

Besides, my hand is the only real lover I need. Wink

This is what happens when sexually repressed people get together:

And because they've got no experience with their repressed feelings thanks to their bizzare, loveless religious beliefs, they end up splitting up or the woman just keeps falling down the stairs/hitting her face on a kitchen cabinet door.

Me, too! I get VERY quiet before and during orgasm, until the back spasms, when I say "ow." It has weirded some lovers out. It just feels strange to "fake it" by adding noise when I don't want to make any damned noise. And I've always had back spasms from orgasm, and it always hurts a little.

Probably TMI, and definitely off-topic, but I'm wondering about wet dreams. I always thought they were for men, and then I turned 40 and for the past couple of years I've been pretty consistently having a rocking good sleep sex life. Do other women experience this? Do men continue to experience it, or start experiencing more often later? I realize that I'm in those fabled years of cougardom, but I never expected to be doing it all by myself so well without even meaning to.

You're definitely not alone. My wife still gets off in her sleep occasionally. That has been extremely rare for me, probably less times my entire life than the fingers on one hand. (Those talented fingers being the chief reason for the rarity.)

As for our decibel level during sex, we both tend toward extremely quiet before but decidedly less so during orgasm. As for needing the 'feedback' I just watch her face and feel her level of arousal directly.

When I was single and would have a new partner I hated being with someone who wanted what they wanted and just the way they wanted it. Boring. I always felt like "if I can't play you a tune of my own devising on your instrument, why don't you just take over yourself"? I know some women are very insecure about if they'll come or how long it takes them. (All the more reason to take control away if you ask me.) For me, there are basically just two things I do during sex: build hunger and feed it. Gulping the meal is only satisfying after a fast.

You have no idea. It took only one man to completely devastate my confidence in that regard. It took 5 others after him to fix it.

Or the shitload of other sexual hang-ups that many religions foist on people.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

I asked my wife to talk dirty and she called me a cocksucker. I'll never do that again.

Glad it got fixed, meaning you found competent partners.

I'm what you might call vocally appreciative.

Yeah, and I learned how to communicate what I wanted and how I felt. Needless to say, it was the Christian who fucked me up - not the atheists.
