I've been an atheist for years, and only just now thougth about looking for a forum that specifically talks about atheism. Mostly I've just been watching atheist videos for a while. I look forward to talking with you guys.

I was going to tell my story here, but I noticed a sub-forum for that, so I talked about it there. Not much else to say, except I was a christian, but left, and it luckily didn't destroy any relationships. Though my family has been trying to keep me from talking to my nieces about my atheism.

I think I'm going to need a new avatar. The one I use on other boards is a knight with a cross on the shield. I like the ideal "knight in shining armor" thing, but having it on this board might confuse people.

If I had kids, I wouldn't want my family trying to fill their heads too much with that. Especially if they were girls. That book is not friendly to women, and the only reason there are female sunday school teachers is because they're ignoring all those parts that speak against it.
