why i always ask people for advice
yall probably notice i always ask peoples opinions for things, but that is because whenever i think something is cool and i decide to do it, everyone else thinks its lame or stupid.

example: i recently got speakers installed in the grille of my mustang cuz i thought it would be cool to hear the music from the outside

but when i shared it online with my mustang club, every single one of them made fun of me, some even said some really mean things, and they said it was lame.

so thats why i like to ask before i do things

You are still too reliant upon the opinions and thoughts of others.

You need to live your life the way you want, and others be damned if they do not like the way you personally prefer to live.

Well, that's why you seem to be struggling with life. Rather than accept who you are, you ask others' opinions as to who you should be.

The issue isn't that everyone thinks what you do is stupid. The issue is that you base your life on how others perceive it.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Yeah... Leo, you shouldn't care what others think so much. You only get one life and you should live it the way you want.

Edit: as long as what you want doesn't include murder, rape, theft...things like that :p

As others have said, you are way too dependent on what you think others think of you.

It is none of your business what others think of you.

One of the best ways to improve your self esteem is to improve yourself.

Take a year and concentrate on yourself. Take some classes at a community college, learn to play an instrument, go to the gym on a consistent basis, learn an art, etc, etc.

Not only will these improve your own self image, it will help with your girlfriend problems. Women are naturally attracted to independent men with useful skills and interests. When your life revolves around getting a girlfriend, women can smell that sort of desperation, and will avoid you like the clingy plague you will end up to be.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Essentially every reply thus far: "Here's my advice but you shouldn't take it."

That is a pretty damn stupid idea though let's be fair. Unless you plan on running a mobile disco I'd say most people won't want to hear your tunes as you roll down the street.

Wait, I'm not helping, carry on...
