Oh in person I'm very respectful. Until you shit on my bed with silly shit from your head and look at me with a quizzical look of satisfaction. Theists do it on purpose when they know I'm an atheist.
In short, no-- I will not turn the other cheek, brother. If you insist on slapping the one cheek, then you're going to hear about it from the other.
I will not lie down and take it, anymore. I'm worth more than that--life itself, is worth more than what I've been told it is.
I refuse to be stepped upon, and have my voice trampled by nonsense.
I lived my entire life gulping down poison, now I will spit it out and tell you to do the same if you try to give it to me too. In all reality i should be slapping that poison out of your hand, but its your choice to drink it; not mine. It'll hurt, but I will lay back and let you hurt yourself as is your wish. Any atheist who is less than 'respectful' is-- in all reality-- going above and beyond to save you. Sometimes that's the only way to get through massive fortifications of bullshit.

As for me, I'll respect your beliefs till it starts hurting you, or until you disrespect my right to mine. You get what you get if you don't respect my beliefs, and unfortunately for you: you get the truth, which hurts. Go cry about it.

Why are atheists disrespectful?
Some argue that they are not and I totally agree that some atheists are respectful, conservative, and contribute to our society. But then, I scroll through the internet finding disrespectful images, blogs, and videos that bash on Christians.
Why do disrespectful atheists ask for respect when they don't give it back?
Do you guys all remember the golden rule?
Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
The golden rule isn't even religious based. It's just a culture-based morality that follows the guidelines of many (if not all) religions.
It makes me upset and flustered when atheists complain about not getting respect when in reality, they don't return it.....
Anyways, just my thoughts.
