if you need to drink to fit in with friends I would take a second look at what that kind of friendship might be. You shouldn't have to drink to fit in, real friends who care wouldn't expect you to, you haven't missed a thing by not drinking other tan puking and hangovers. This is from one who was very experienced at drinking, now that I do not I wonder why I ever started. Life is easier to live and deal with sober, drinking in truth only adds another problem to life, especially if you think it could lead to becoming an alcoholic, not a pretty thing, many of my old friends were or are. Those who were regret ever starting and those who are can't see the life they live is far short of what they could be living. Just trying to give you things to think about from my life experiences.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
