The introductions sub-form is for that only, and we have restricted rules there so people are more welcoming to newcomers. If you truly want to do it one-on-one, I suggest you use the private message system, but if you don't mind it being public and everyone else chiming in with their two cents, start a new thread, just don't do it in the introductions area.

Welcome oh young interviewer.
Please, pick up a seat and enjoy this fine forum...
Don't just interview and go write your report.
We can be funny, witty, knowledgeable, politically incorrect, boisterous and very foul-mouthed.... all in one sentence!... but not in this area of the forum... intros are supposed to be nice and fluffy.
Questionnaires are frowned by the staff until you've established a presence here... 30 posts or 30 days seems to be the rule.

However, Wink should you find someone willing WinkWink, you could do it all via PM....but, frankly, what's the fun in that?

Oh sorry if that is kind of confusing, it shouldn't even really be called a questionnaire. There's not list of questions or anything, I just have to have a conversation about something related to what people believe about religion/atheism and why then write a paper on it. And ok that's fine, I'll stop posting in this introduction thread.

I'm at a loss at this point. You state that there is no set list of questions, yet fail to provide a basis, purpose, or goal for the interview. I could imagine an assignment that simply requires interview skill practice, but the non-Christian requirement makes that absurd.

You should know that people come here with some regularity on some type of research mission for an assignment. I don't recall a single instance where the guest has divulged the wording of the assignment, including you to this point. Please give us a full description of the assignment. Most of us here have spent much more time in school simply by virtue of arriving on Earth sooner, so you must understand why I think an assignment that only states "Interview a non-Christian" is suspect.

The other thing to know is that these previous 'researchers' have all used the 'assignment' ruse to start preaching and then get indignant when feelings get hurt.

OP, please let us know what what your assignment is, so we know you are operating in good faith and not as a ruse for preaching.

He/she probably doesn't know where to start.

This place has different forums. Right now you are in the corner meant for introductions. Go to another one depending on what your topic is and start a new thread for your discussion. There you can explain what you are looking for, what your project is about, etc. Once we read that, we might figure we wish to help out, or not.
