What if this is like it says in the argument, that this (God) is the ultimate perfection? It has to be logically to be what it is... the source of everything... actus primus/ first cause.

If the definition of God is perfection... then he is logically perfect. But perfection cannot be imperfect... so I would reject the imperfect texts in which this otherwise perfect God is "defined" Tongue

Perfection all depends on what we are describing Smile

"Is the bible perfect?" "Is the bible perfect in _____ sense?" is the real question to ask Smile

I would say perfection depends on your perspective. Without accepting the logic it appears to be many things but what it is to someone who understands. Like a manual for an operating system to someone who has never seen a computer.

I'm just going to stop debating here...

Then you agree that perfection is different amongst different people?
If that is true, then God cannot be perfect. Perfection of different opinions cannot be combined together, somebody might think that creation is imperfect.

No. If perfection isn't seen that doesn't mean it isn't there: The computer manual is perfect; but to the person who has never seen a computer it's meaningless and therefore not perfect.

Thats fascinating.

I take this view personally.

1. Perfection and Imperfection are creations of our own minds, and have no value aside from
that very mental construct.

2. Because human beings can never be perfect (conceptually), that is our biggest advantage.
this means we can improve limitlessly, because that goal of completion in perfection can never be reached.

infinit progression. is that not perfect?

haha

peace
