Welfare should be abolished, & so should private property. Then everyone will be able to walk into a factory & work, then sell what they produce on the market. Those that are good at what they do will then naturally get ahead, while those who refuse to work will die off as nature intended.

I jest, of course. I think that the very fact that the welfare system exists demonstrates that private charities would takeover should it be removed. Human beings are innately altruistic. We don't need to be coerced into it.

There is difference between being on disability and being on welfare. You have obvious difficulties in entering the work force, so much so that even if you wanted to work you would far harder pressed to find a employer that can work with those issues. Where as most people on welfare are there because they were either too irresponsible with birth control options or they are good old fashioned too fucking lazy to work.
