You know how you know you have a 99.9% chance of completely fucking yourself over if you were to jump into a lava stream? That's because science, with a little observation (those poor trees and plants that are in the stream's way) have taught you that "really hot firey thing should be avoided".

Why did I say lava stream and not something more obvious? Because you've probably inferred a conclusion about its deadly potential without actually seeing one thanks to the use of science and it's deductions based on the observations of others.

Actually, I was person to "speak in tongues". I also prayed for people and the silly people fell back. I'm so glad I rescued myself from all of that which was passed on to me and decided to question it all. What was I thinking? Nothing. I was following. To say that you need to see things with spiritual eyes is equal to saying you need to not question and just go with the flow. To feel it. To give it an interpretation based on emotions and not evidence. The same kind of elation you can get from a concert of your favorite band. Don't assume none of us have been there, done that. You're wrong.

I believe in demons, they are the fallen angels, trying to do all the damage they can before God punishes them for eternity. I've never seen a demon possession and pretty sure I do not want to for many reasons.
There was a murder trail here where three guys raped, tortured, mutilated and murdered a young couple that was beyond belief, if you saw the pictures of what happened you might believe in demons too. It was so horrific I do not believe a person could have done these things, it was so inhuman, far beyond the mind.

To convince someone that their life can be improved through change, they must be discontent in some way. In what way was heaven lacking enough that a third of the population could be convinced to rock the boat?

I would think that if your going against a omnipotent Being you either have a reason that makes self sacrifice okay with you or your dumb as a box of rocks.
