The bible was translated into Latin 50 years (by some estimates) after it was compiled. Actually most of the NT was translated before that.

which only supports the idea that 'rome' was taking the bible out of the hands of the people and putting it in the hands of the elect... Which all begs the question why. If the bible was compiled and supported the doctrines they wanted to push... How much more powerful would it have been if it was left in the common mans hand writting as the word and will of God, Rather than keeping people in the dark and dictating terms?

It being translated into Latin and complied at nicea originally gave more people access not less. What your thinking of didn't occur until after the fall nearly 200 years later. and after the fall it wouldn't have mattered what language they kept it in, no one but priests could read.

The reason the gospels are vary so differently is because they all written by authors that had no contact with each other and little to no contact with with anything that was better then 2nd hand information and on top of that all of the gospels are originally writting in koine while Jesus most likely taught in aramaic. Thats why they contradict.
