That I will. You know, for all the shitty things that happen in Mexico - the people are very friendly, with an interesting culture - and they know how to cook some damned delicious food.
The friendliness is there to counter the bad. I remember DF having the most kisses on Valentines Day to show the world love was better than the cartels.
Yeah. Amarillo is in Oaxaca. I prefer to stay away from the tourist traps because they tend to cater to Americans...aka they serve fake Mexican food...it's terrible, but Americans can't handle eating menudo and the like.
I've been to Puerta Vahallarta and it was swell as a tourist trap (Predator was filmed in the jungles there), but I did not much like Canjun and passed on a chance to go during college. Real Mexico is much more interesting.
