Host for a fetus? Isn't that fetus the guy's grandchild? That seems like a jerkish thing to say. Though it's true that many republicans don't seem to care as much for child services and foster care as they do preventing someone from having an abortion.

The US has been going down the tubes for decades, we no longer concentrate on things that matter. We have moved our factories over seas and practically make nothing anymore. "Free" trade agreements is the reason for this.
We almost "make" women have to work when taking care of their offspring is the most important job they could ever have.
Of course their should be paid maternity leave, not having it is just stupid and against morality! Both members in a marriage should not have to work to survive but that is the way things are or heading.
People should be encouraged to have children not have it be a "money" issue, that goes against nature in so many ways. We have the resources and technology why don't we implement these things.

If I remember rightly, George Carlin expressed this as, 'If you're pre-born, you're fine. If you're pre-school, you're fucked.'
