He is certainly no liberal. he is a doctrinaire leftist. Liberalism is not anti capitalism.
Also, what is it with the idealization of work? As Marx said, in communist society work shall be merged with play. In this sense the left & the right are the same. They both idolize work. The left has betrayed its objectives in favor of workism, because they need an ideologized worker or else they don't have a revolutionary element. The right needs work so that they can call leftists "dirty Marxists who have never worked a day in their lives". The objective is to abolish wage labor, to create a society based off voluntary work, where all work voluntarily to express their creative urges & conformity is abolished.
Most early leftists would be anti-leftist if they were alive today. Marx was certainly no fan of cultural relativism, as evidenced by the quote in my signature. Kropotkin was a cultural imperialist as evidenced by his support of WWI.
