I thought that considering the situation, he was being a really nice moose, especially towards the end.

Oops. A rather stately moose had tangled its antlers in a childrens swing in some national park or so, and a brave ranger walked right up to the moose and cut the chains one by one out of the antler with a side cutter, while the moose was being somewhat nervous, and skittish, and dangerous.

A moose stag has gotten his antlers wound up in a swing set, and a very brave officer tries to cut him loose, and succeeds. The heavy breathing is the moose, he's scared shitless, has probably been panicking for a while, but is so exhausted that eventually he stands quite still as the guy cuts the chain away.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

It was a male, and it was obviously in distress, judging by it's labored breathing, and frothing at the mouth. It was fortunate that someone with some guts came along to rescue it.

I did notice it was breathing hard. I guess those chains were just too tough, and I hope he found himself some water afterwards.

I remember getting a neighbor's goat freed from a fence once. It was likely trying to reach the tall grass on the other side, and couldn't get loose for his horns. One of the sons came over and I told him to get some wire cutters, but got the goat free before he got back. Not that this was nearly as dangerous as trying to free a moose.

Wow. Cast iron balls. I would not be very willing to mess around with an obviously agitated moose. Yikes.

I'm a pretty brave guy, and I don't think even I would've had the ca-honeys to attempt that.

Mad kudos to that kick-ass ranger.

I'm going to have a girly moment and say how brave and sweet that was! And yes I did the dreamy girly sigh.
