It's all cultural. Men in the middle east will walk around holding hands but believe in the death penalty for gays. Seems odd to Westerners since only gay men will hold hands with each other over here.

I french kiss my mom and dad.. but I will not kiss my girlfriend on the mouth. I dont know where her lips have been because she s a christian... eeewww...

My ex wife kisses my daughter on the lips, and so does her boyfriend. Even though I choose not to do it, I wouldn't anyway because it would look very odd for a fully grown man to kiss a small child like that. I want to knock out the boyfriend so badly...I always think "Who the fuck gave him permission to do that to my daughter?" Oh yeah. The ex did.
There's pretty much zilch that I can do about it. It's a thing of preference within families, so it's not up to me how they show affection to my daughter if it's not some kind of obvious abuse. I personally think that it can lead to parents giving their children the wrong ideas about affection in a culture that deems kissing on the mouth as an event to take place only between significant others.

I don't have too much of a problem with it.
So long as the don't go Deliverance on each other, it's not a problem for me.
