So What Happened To The Plane?

Plane to tower: "Are we on your screen?"
Tower to plane: "Wait, What?"

Not much is happening. So far searchers have narrowed down the area to 46,000 ish square kilometres.
They are still trying to find the "hay stack" and are looking at the possibility of having to go 5 kilometres down to retrieve anything. "The Universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." G'Kar-B5

Titanic took over 70 years to find in a smaller, shallower ocean...
Fun fact....
The search effort is based at RAAF base Pearce, which is a couple of K's east of our house. We can see the Orions as they fly over our place on the way to the search area. If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71. |
