Are you trying to start the church of the unknown perfect argument? I see great potential in the idea Big Grin

Nah, it's been done. A lot.

No, it seems that tor is quite the prodigy.

I learned everything about logic all on my own without any books or any information from the outside. I discovered it all in my head.
Passed all logic classes with highest grades without failing ever.

So maybe he really did make a perfect argument. Confusedhock:

I am flabbergasted. I just don't know what to say about that post.

Time to man up and post that link to the thread, Tor.

Don't be humble...you invented the Epicurean paradox. Your brainwaves traveled back through time and gave Epicurus his inspiration.

I heard you made a rock so big that you couldn't lift it...then lifted it anyway.

When a tree falls in the forest...it hears tor's defense of the Epicurean paradox.

I heard a typical Blue Whale has a 10 foot long penis when erect and dispenses 400 gallons of sperm in a single ejaculation. Scientists were astonished by this until they came across a tor.

I wrote in this thread because I think a bit of light-hearted ball busting can be fun. After browsing through some of Tor's posts, however, I now feel that I've been participating in bullying a person who may be genuinely disordered. This was never my intention.
I realize this post may make some people laugh, but I'm not trying to make a joke.
If you are laughing -- that one's on me.

That would be dis-tor-dered.

ETA: or perhaps retorded.

I think we confuse assholes with a philosophical stance.

Ex: there are asshole atheist and asshole theist. I call them fundamentalist.

But you must remember. I can't understand why a person would ignore what the universe shows them, or if you are a believer, god shows us. To have "faith" based on "what I don't know" is silly to me. Within reason. I do have faith that my football will win if they are good enough before the game.

It is ok to believe in a higher power. It is really anti-Christ to teach bible literacy. Jesus himself stood against this. He wasn't even Christian.

But to answer your question. A guy named teeknow does these things. When they reach the limit of their understanding they first reword, then miss quote, then onto flat out say you said something you never said. These tricks are to knock you off balance. Stay on topic. Ignore adjectives.

both theist and atheist do this. In fact, most assholes do this. Being "asshole" is independent of belief.
