Well I made the 100 mile drive to Birmingham so my girlfriend can visit with her mother at the hospital where her 84 year old husband had a quadruple bypass a couple of days ago.

Well, it was Easter today. I said a prayer to a bunny and symbolically drank his blood and ate his flesh by downing a cadbury egg.

So the weather was very nice today. Given the long and cold winter this year, this was really only about the 3rd day so far this year that was appropriate for outdoor activities. So my sister, nephews, and I went rollerblading, and I managed to completely trash one of my rollerblades. I had no idea they could break that way. Time for a new pair.

Then we hung out with the non-Easter bunnies (between us, we have 5 pet rabbits), had dinner, and watched a movie.

Oh yeah, and I did my laundry this morning, around the time that the Christians would probably be in church.

So that was my Easter.
That's MISTER Godless Vegetarian Tree Hugging Hippie Liberal to you.

Had a wonderful roast beef for lunch, green beans, crescent rolls (yeah, from the tube but we luv 'em) and that sald made from pudding, fresh diced apples, cool whip and snicker bars, YUM!!

Then I spent some time at a local visitor center 'primping' some displays and took out the trash.

Read the paper when I got home, and then watched some TV.

I did my laundry on Sunday morning. Normally the building's laundry room is pretty busy first thing Sunday, but it was empty for a good hour or two. Got the laundry done and didn't see another person until I went back to get the clothes out of the dryer. Thanks, Easter!
