Lol I don't know why I posted that ...I meant the Paleolithic time period to be exact. This was a time archaeologists and historians have surmised celebrated the most gender equality.

Oh ok! I'd be interested in how they came to that conclusion as I thought all we had from back then was stone tools. Could you post a link to the study so i can have a read?

Interestingly, I was looking up some of this because of your inquiry, and found a really good paper on it. I nearly read the entire thing, quite interesting read.
