Greetings everyone.

I'm a doubting 'Christian' but love to have a good debate on many topics that get the brain cells going. As I haven't made my mind up about my spiritual beliefs I won't be trying to preach to anyone. My partner is an atheist but not one for discussing stuff so hopefully I can find some common ground and friendly folk here.

Nice to see a person properly use the word "Agnostic" in their religious views bit. I don't tend to put it in my religious views because people always misunderstand it.

Well guys, this is probably as good a place as any to say 'goodbye'. My time here I believe, has now come to an end. Due to my 'beliefs' in God and Christ, I do not feel it is beneficial for me to continue debating. I have had some very interesting debates and I thank everyone for engaging with me. You are great people. I can see that our positions are so 'opposite' that I could easily debate the same points over and over til I pop my cloggs. I've learnt lots of things and I'm finally learning about evolution. I've still got loads of doubts about my beliefs and no doubt always will, but I 'see' God enough to hold on to these beliefs through faith -which I know you guys detest!
Thanks again for your time and help. I'll be thinking of you (only thinking- don't worry) and I wish you all well in your lives. Be good.......

Your leaving?!
Crap!

Would a box of chocolates convince you to stay?
Well, I hope you do well in the future and please always keep an open mind. Never shut science or reason out.
Try to pop back sometime! You'd always be welcome!

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Well CR, I wish you well and I can only hope you will continue to think for yourself and not accept things on face value.
