Brilliant! you could load the pizza onto a coordinate measuring machine and use stagelighting and edge detection to define the edge of the pie then use laser scans to characterize the surface of the pizza. +1 internets for you Mr. Hayter!

you could put it in some goo wich it cant absorb? or put it in sand and record the difference then. coz im pretty sure that cant be absorbed Tongue

The problem is that sand isn't a good measurement of volume, since sand grains can have space in between them (due to their irregular shape).
