RE: Reason for the Season
Does anyone know the passage for the condemnation of the Christmas tree?

I'll try looking it up, but trying to navigate the bible always leaves me confused and frustrated.

Jeremiah 10:2-4: "Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen....For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and hammers, that it move not."

leo-rcc... thank you for that... I was actually looking for that verse a while back...

A Southern Baptist was arguing with a Pentecostal in-front of me a few weeks ago and the "Devil Tree" abomination was brought up. lolol

It's been over ten years since I had read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and I had remembered reading that verse, but could not remember which book/section etc.
