I think this would come under the category of philosophy of science. Does anyone who does physics or is very knowledgeable in physics, know what the implications of QM in general have on our conception of causation? Also, is there any notable material on this which someone not experienced with complex physics can understand?

Quantum Mechanics and causation

This is probably more of a metaphysics question. Though you might want to ask someone like Rasetsu about this, since she's usually on top of the science and philosophy.

H. P. Stapp has written much on this topic but I don't have references handy.
