I like the idea of the Prius with the hyrbid technology and the fuel efficiency and all, but they are the dopiest looking cars and it bothers my sense of aesthetics that the tires and wheels on it are so small.
It also annoys me that every third car on the road now is a Prius. I imagine going into the store as a Prius owner and coming out to find the entire parking lot filled with your exact same car and not being able to find yours because they're all identical...

You know what looked really dopey? Is in, it catered to total nerd who thought they were the coolest ever (and not nerds turned hipsters)? The GM EV-1, from the 90's. That old electric car.
If I never saw this on the road, I'd want to shoot whoever was driving it.

The biggest advantage of being in a Prius is that you can't see the car.
Some versions have slightly larger wheels if it helps (including ours). Fugly as it is it is simply the most practical, comfortable, reliable and economical car we have ever owned.
Oh - and we weren't dumb enough to buy it new. Bought it 3 years old for 1/3rd of the price when new. Since then, after 50K kilometers being put on it its lost about a quarter of its value. As we replaced a Grand Cherokee with it we worked out that buying the Prius has actually turned out to be cheaper than not buying it.
