That'a a pretty silly analogy. That's like saying that since we've made cars, we shouldn't make bicycles anymore.

agreed ...

"perfect"? perfect what?

we are as perfect as we can be at this time and this place. Maybe angles are pissed they can't breath oxygen.

heck, we were made in less than 65 million years ... he did pretty good for that fast.

If the angels were superior, then why did God bother creating Adam and Eve that are, according to you, inferior beings, after he created the angels. Did God get dumber and could no longer do better? Unless, he created superior beings! If the angels were superior, why not stick to making angels?

The scriptures says nothing about humans be inferior, it says we are below the angels in rank and scripture says that one day we will place above the angels. Good luck with that 2004 engine.

Yes, but God told Jeremiah that, before he entered his mothers womb, he knew him, and appointed him prophet of the nations. Answer my question: When Jeremiah was 3 years old, was he a prophet yes or no? Yes!!! Yes!!! If God appointed Jeremiah as the prophet of the nations, it means that Jeremiah is the prophet of the fucking nations, whether he's 3 years old or 3 days old. Who are you to question God?

If God appoints us to be superior to the angels, we are superior to the angels. Saying we are lower than the angels just because we are not yet of age is like saying that Jeremiah is not the prophet because he's 3 years old and, what good can come out of a 3 year old's mouth anyways? It's going against God! God says the child is the prophet, then, you listen to the child and obey him also! Even if you know mathematics and he doesn't! By no means you can be superior to him just because you are older or more knowledgeable!

God says Jeremiah is the prophet, Jeremiah is the prophet. God appoints us to be higher than the angels, then so be it. What's the problem? Again, I do not agree with your interpretation of the verses but just for the sake of the argument.

Jeremiah didn't have to be a prophet when he was three years old. Because God appointed him to be prophet of the nations doesn't mean that he was a prophet when he was born. He became a prophet when he began to prophesy. Nothing says he has to make us superior to the angels when we are born. Why can't he wait until we inhabit the new earth? Does God have to act according to our rules?

Those seem to be your rules not God's rules. It's like saying you don't know which is superior, a nitroglycerine bomb or a nuclear bomb, because when they sit in the stock room, none does any damage, so you have to wait until both explode to know which is better.

God set our destiny and so, if he says we will be better than the angels, you better believe him, or convert to idol worship and start worshiping natural things Smile

@ Ksa, you show more and more how little you know about scripture and your reasoning skills have fallen out your butt and onto the ground where you have left them. Lek tried to tell you that we (the saved) will become higher than the angels, the lost will be the lowest beings ever, which camp do you aspire to belong to. So age has nothing to do with when Christians become higher than the angels nor when Jeremiah became a prophet, nor when I became a deacon. You're such a silly little child who needs to read and study scripture, it might help to keep you from looking foolish, well maybe, depends on how seriously you will study.

You're paraphrasing me when I said:

He has a choice of either obeying or disobeying God, and when he chooses, out of his own free will, to obey God, he is greater than the angels.

Nice try fag. You gotta keep your mouth shut and your eyes open more often, you might learn something. I don't particularly appreciate the dishonest ways in which you impose your arguments, you and your whole kind.

So, Lek tried to tell me something I already said days ago and I was too stupid to understand him? Is that right GC? Lol.

Fag can mean gay but only in North American culture. In fact, the meaning of the word comes not from gay, but from the french word "fagot". The expression designates a stupid man by comparing him to "un fagot" which means a piece of wood. If you were gay, you would probably be more open minded, and less of a "fagot", pun intended. You can familiarize yourself with the notion here:

http://www.linternaute.com/expression/la...es-fagots/

And since, by paraphrasing me, you acknowledged my claim and lost the debate, I wish you a good day.

P.S. Let this be another lesson to you, not to engage me again in a purely scriptural debate or I will hand your ass each and every time Smile

RE: Christianity IS Geocentrism.
Guys, I really don't even care whether or not God made us above or below the angels. Angels are not present in this universe. (If you can demonstrate that they exist at all.) My question was: Why would a perfect, all-knowing being who never makes a mistake, go out of his way to create the universe, fill it with one hundred and fifty sextillion planets, create the earth, (9 billion years later) place humanity on one of them (more than 4 billion years later), fill that planet with such diverse life (99.8% of which is now extinct), create features on said animals that provide evidence that they evolved (giraffe's laryngeal nerve, immovable musculature on certain mammals/birds), and then expect people to interpret all of that as evidence of his existence? And if the only answer you can give me is "Well, the Lord works in mysterious ways, who are we to know the mind of God?", then this discussion is over.

I know this has kind of drifted away from my original topic, so I'll close with a point Lek never really responded to.

If God did create other life on other planets, it is probable that they also worship/serve God. But, that religious practice has nothing to do with Christianity. Christ did not die for their sins. (If they indeed have sins.) Christ's crucifixion was a planetary event, not a universal event. Unless you believe the Earth is the only planet with life on it, in which case "planet" and "universe" are essentially interchangeable, to which I would have you respond to my original question of 'Why?'".

By definition, Christianity is geocentric. If you don't live on Earth, then Jesus didn't die for you, and if you do live on Earth, don't think about other planets, they don't matter, just serve God.

Pretty straight-forward.
