Google car can be worse at solving ethical dilemmas if it can avoid more accidents in the first place, IMHO.

Just a thought, the car uses information from a rotating laser system on the roof to detect objects on the road, what happens in fog, rain or snow. (do they know about snow in California?)

I am as confident that driverless cars is the wave of the future as I am of Google fucking it up and thus becoming a negligible foot note in the progress towards that goal.
