I used to hate maths in school because you'd always get picked on to answer the question in the middle of class and the fucking teacher never gave you time to work it out. Leaving you looking like a prick. I've always struggled with maths, it's not that I can't do it. It just takes me a lot longer that most other people. Kinda sucks.
It is awful. The worse thing for me is people saying things like "Oh, you're smart. What is (insert math question)?" then when you have no idea they just look disappointed.
At my high school, we had a retired electrical engineer that could teach pre-calc to a goat. He was incredible at explaining math concepts in ways that you would understand, and if you didn't understand that way of explaining things, he'd give you another way of explaining it, and another, and another until he found the one that clicked with you. He was unbelievable. Mr. Ray, man. What a guy...

Youtube, my dear. And a patient daughter. Or go to a party store and buy a cheap, long-haired wing and a mannequin head to practice.

I've never been able to do more than just a three-strand "normal" braid.
I've always wanted to be able to whistle really loudly, like the fingers in the mouth, at a ball game type whistle, but I just can't do it. I can whistle regularly, though, sucking and blowing.
