It is a good bet the universe in anyway similar to ours and able to form stars and planets begun around 13.7 billion years ago.
The Milky Way galaxy is estimated to be 13.2 billion years old. Do you think an observer in the Milky Way 13.2 billion years ago could have seen the very same distant galaxies that we can see now?
