When I was around 13-15 and weighed only 98lbs, I was a sprinter in the school track team.

Then everyone grew really tall, and it became apparent that I was not an athlete.

I run because I love to eat, and because I need the exercise to my cardio system for my asthma. And because apparently exercise that hurts me is about as good as the sort of BDSM sex that leaves me feeling just as sore and used. Masochism is a bitch.

I was also asthmatic when i was a kid. Ironically when i got into sports (basketball), my asthma disappeared. So basically i can say that running made me healthy Tongue

I always feel better when I've been working out for several months, for sure, (in comparison when I don't for several months) but nothing kills the asthma from allergies. [makes face]

I feel like absolute shite today and don't think I'll be able to do anything until tomorrow at least, when I plan on trying to go for a walk to stretch my legs. It's possible I won't be able to run again until Thursday.

Don't procrastinate your next one. Might feel like it'll be a while until you can do it again, but if you can do it once you can do it again as soon as you are not sore. Best to get back on it.

I'm going to the gym instead - I'm not procrastinating on the exercise, but the impact was pretty harsh and I'd rather do cardio on the bike and lift some weights. Plus, it's going to rain for like the next five days.

I went for a 3 mile walk with the dog on Tuesday and wanted to cry by the time I got back. My calves were killing me.

(also, the dog hates me)
