If I could learn any language, I guess I would learn as many as I could, but that number is apparently one. I have demonstrated no competence in picking up anything other than English (I took Spanish in school, and attempted German and French on my own).

I attempted German on my own, and then took some classes. Turns out my brain isn't wired for that, regardless of how bad I want it.
