Care to cite a reputable source for that?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I'm going to go out on a limb and say....

No.

Well....

He would love to cite sources for it, but he has none.

My prophet sense is tingling as well, but I'm willing to take whatever he's got. Not necessarily at face value, but I'll take it.

Well, Wyrd?

If Mars has deposits of petroleum/oil, that would be a totally awesome find!
Do a bit of research and find out how oil is made. Then you'll get why many many people would be thrilled to learn Mars has it. Wink

Weren't all of those dinosaurs so thoughtful in dying in huge piles so that their decaying carcasses would turn into petroleum for our cars? They were just such sweethearts! Imagine all of the human corpses in graveyards are turning into oil this very second.

Because that source does not contain within it a useful prediction made by abiotic theory, or any direct evidence of any abiotic petroleum whatsoever-

-it's garbage as a source. Which is also, conveniently, why it's garbage as a theory.

If only that were what the theory claimed.

So wait.

You have a hard time believing that in 4.5 billion years the earth hasn't 'used up' all its water (which you still haven't said how or why it would be used up), but you have no problem believing that it's has more than 4.5 billion years worth of hydrogen to create both water and hydrocarbons?
