What is knowledge?

RE: What is knowledge?
fantastic video clip there ... ta.
It basically says that it is a waste of time arguing with a religious person and trying to use logic in your argument ...
What else do we have?

Likewise, I wish they'd do the same and stop trying to use logic to justify their beliefs.
If we are all to act professionally, we all need to agree to disagree ...

Hang on a sec, I'll just ask the shiites and sunnis for their "professional opinions"
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

See Valerie Tarico's other video ... How Beliefs Change:
http://www.youtube.com/user/TrustingDoubt/videos

It takes a slow accumulation of doubt before change happens.

Also see.... Imagine No Religion 3: Peter Boghossian - YouTube

Boghossian suggests not directly targeting people's beliefs, but targeting people's epistemology i.e. the method by which they arrive at religious "knowledge", and only trying to move people one step at a time away their current certain position, towards a less certain position.

As so many of us put it, the problem with "knowledge" of gods and supernatural bunk is precisely that it can't be justified.

RE: What is knowledge?
I'm sorry OP , but I just hate these questions that ask about the obviously freakin' obvious .
Like asking what is life ? what is the mind ? what is love ?

It is what it is ...

Very interesting video. Thanks for posting it. I like the warning that people who aren't religious can still fall for the 'All-knowing rational mind myth'. Tongue
