Please don't ask me to explain how that happened. I've often wondered that myself. I don't think she really believes half the things she says. I think she says them precisely because she knows they're offensive and it gets her attention. Others like her, the Rush Limbaugh types, are probably also trolls who spew their bile because it gets them fame, attention and money. They know if they ever lose that attention, they have to get real jobs. So they follow the P.T. Barnum strategy "hate me, mock me, just don't ignore me." (or words to that effect). Just remember, "oink". Pigs go "oink". It's in their nature. They're pigs. It's completely predictable. "Can you believe what Ann Coulter just said?" "Can you believe what Rush Limbaugh just said?" "Can you believe what Liz Cheney just said?" "Yeah, they said, 'oink' once again." The problem is not the pig people who say 'oink'. The problem is with our media that puts a microphone and a camera in front of them and interviews them like they have something to say.

We can't understand soccer because we have the attention span of a gnat, and can't understand what there is to watch if it takes 90 minutes to score a goal. Our resentment of soccer is further increased by the fact that it seems to grab the attention of most of the world that we believe ought to have been better devoted to American football. "I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment) RE: Ann Coulter - The troll of all trolls

That's the game where people line up, charge at each other for about two seconds then mill about for a bit. And you can't understand REAL football! amazing. Why they never re-named it, especially considering Rugby also came from the same root game, is beyond me.

It's all part of her persona. American sports are full of people of a different color and nationality than her. Any activity which diverts the nationalism of adults and the aggressive tendencies of early post adolescent males without the use of firearms is ok with me. But the income stratification between the top tier and the rest of the wannabes is a sad joke. Too many young people are lured into dedicating their lives and often losing their good health to an activity which never pays off. Like the lottery, there are a few winners and lots of losers.
So how, exactly, does God know that She's NOT a brain in a vat?
