Most Christians are good people who don't intentionally lie, I don't blame them one bit.
In fact, the indoctrination is so absolute that I'm not sure they can legally be held responsible for their actions.

Well the only reasons to not be guilty or responsible for your actions, from a criminal law perspective, are either a mental illness or as a result of age (minors can't be guilty). I guess the only way to make an indoctrinated Christian not guilty or responsible would be to consider such person mentally ill.
