The only British comedys I've ever liked:

I used to tell a lot of religious jokes. Not any more, I'm a registered sects offender.

At any rate, a significant proportion of the shows I watch are British.
Some of my favorites include:
Black Books
Blackadder
Monty Python
Little Britain (A guilty pleasure)
League of Gentlemen (and its sister series Psychoville)
Look Around You (It's like Cosmos for people who don't like science)
Ali G Show
Comparing the Universal Oneness of All Life to Yo Mama since 2010.
I was born with the gift of laughter and a sense the world is mad.

I love the Addams Family. Both old and new series.

I also love silent films as well. I am a big Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton fan. I like Laurel and Hardy, the Abbott and Costello movies, The little rascals, etc.
