If there is no such thing as the supernatural, then how do you explain this?

Open you window. Now listen carefully...

Can you hear the groans?

Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken."

I'm here all week.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Only naturalist, materialistic fundamentalists believe there is no such thing as the supernatural. Every other sane being on the planet agrees that it exists.

It's a good thing that atheists are such a small part of the overall population, otherwise we would be in HUGE TROUBLE.

Scepticism - of which atheism is a specialised subset - is the position of withholding belief until there is sufficient evidence to think otherwise. In and of itself, it is not the belief in the contra-positive.

Right - we can do without all those witch burnings and torture for heresy.

The quality and resolution of each one of these images is shitty.

I wish I could say I feel underwhelmed... >.>

I could equally well say if there's no such things as Martians, how do you explain these pictures of UFOs? Here's the stumbling block: first you have to establish that the pictures are of supernatural phenomena. It's not up to us to establish that they're not.

Your track record on this is like that of an extremely sheltered virgin - you keep jabbing away but miss the hole every time.

I am curious and would like to hear your private opinions regarding ghostly happenings. Please do share. Read

Argument from ignorance, Rev: even if I couldn't explain it, that doesn't make your supernatural conjecture, based on nothing more than "these photo thingies look like people!" is true. You need evidence for that, and the existence of the phenomena itself does not testify to a cause.

I also find it strange that a christian like you would even attempt an argument like this. You really believe in ghosts? The guy who has a forty page thread telling us that the only two choices are heaven or hell is suddenly introducing a third choice- hanging around on earth- in order to score points?

They're either faked, camera artifacts, misremembered stories or pareidolia with a bit of confirmation bias. Meh.

I prefer the jebus toast though!

I wonder if he was on his way for his second coming but ran out of fuel?

This seems at odds with this very scientific plot:

But... but... all those photos in the article were made in film... and film can be... well... strange.
You know that, in the old times, you could get more than one image onto the same frame?
You know that in the 35mm roll times... the film was rolled up and, in some cases, an image from one frame could pass to another.
And don't get me talking about photo developing techniques... photoshopping before photoshop was invented!
