I don't think you are racist or prejudiced for not liking hijabs. Honestly, my biggest problem is with the burka and the niqab, I don't have many problems with women wearing a simple hijab as long as they continue to wear regular clothes. Here in PT, there was some immigration of Syrian refugees and I often see women wearing them

I would like to say you something. If you're a racist the majority of French are racist (I'm an indigenous French who live in a Muslim ghetto in which they are 20-40% of inhabitants but happily in this neighbourhood of Housing Estates you have few chances to be killed , mugged , robbed etc... ).
You're not a racist. Islam isn't a race. There are evidences who prove that this is not a race.
1.In Algeria , Muslims are mat (some people will say white but they are not white like some Western Europeans , Eastern Europeans nor WASP. This is why I use this therm).
2.In Mali , Muslims are black.
3.In Russia (Chechenya) Muslims are white.

Didn't the French sign an EU treaty (that later failed when the other EU nations voted it down for being garbage) with the sole purpose of keeping the Turks out?

Middle Eastern women were always throwing sacks over their heads.

Genesis 38:14-15 (ERV) = Tamar always wore clothes that showed that she was a widow. So she put on some different clothes and covered her face with a veil. Then she sat down near the road going to Enaim, a town near Timnah. Tamar knew that Judah’s younger son Shelah was now grown up, but Judah would not make plans for her to marry him. Judah traveled on that road and saw her, but he thought that she was a prostitute. (Her face was covered with a veil like a prostitute.)

Susanna 1:32 (CEB) = The criminals ordered the veil that she was wearing to be removed so they could soak in her beauty.
So according to the Bible it was common practice for women to wear veils over their faces for a number of reasons. However, in some cases in the Old Testament women wearing veils were considered to be prostitutes and up to no good.
Paul came along and said that women should wear veils to please angels by showing them that some man has them under his thumb.
So when you see a woman wearing a sack over her head chalk it off to some weird Middle East cultural BS that you will never be able to understand.
