Or we've just grown up and accept certain things we can't control and try our best to manage the things we can. Thats life, its not perfect, but there's plenty to be happy about. A modicum of maturity goes a long way.
And...no, reality doesn't 'make everyone so sad'. Reminds me of Mozart Link's bizarre fatalist fetish.

Which is why it makes everyone so mad. It's the price of living in a human society, at this present stage of development and with the visible complexity. As you grow old, you either accept it and go on with your life, or sink into that angst which bytes you in the ass. Most people accept it and live... some even become a part of the bureaucracy, some make it increase... If you prefer not to deal with that, then go live in an island by yourself.
I don't understand what are you talking about. why are you so angry? You live in an affluent neighbourhood

What growing up to me means is becoming intelligent and understanding the world around me. What growing up to you means becoming a cog in a big machine. That's all that human beings are. Little cogs trying to work this mechanical, lifeless system of living we have. If people don't fit in, we hammer them in. If people die, they're replaced. If someone refuses to be a cog, we scorn them. We treat them like they're shit for not supporting the lie we call humanity. Humanity is an oxymoron as far as I'm concerned. There is nothing humane about the way we humans are forced to live our lives. (October 14, 2014 at 10:34 am)MusicLovingAtheist Wrote: That looks remarkably like a sloth that has decomposed in water.

Well, if you are so utterly determined to be miserable, at least you're succeeding in that. Congratulations. Meanwhile, the rest of us will continue to enjoy life with our friends and loved ones.

Just fuck you and everything about this statement. You're strawmaning my entire existence to "affluent", "well off". Fuck poor people. This is why I hate poor people. They're so ignorant. If you think money brings you happiness you are fucking mistaken. I despise my life. I have been told I am more negative than suicidal people. Yet I get mocked and ridiculed for having a life they they perceive to be superior to theirs. You people know fucking nothing about my life.
