If you you believe that a fantasy world is real, it wouldn't just stop when you stopped composing...that's why it would be a belief. And if you believed that you were living in some fantasy world, and you took actions based on your experience of this fantasy world, it's very possible (and depending on the situation, probable) that your actions would not be compatible with the reality that does exist.
