Don't have much of an opinion either way really, but a movie came to mind for each one of them - where I loved the character they played.

Jack Black, by my lights, is just barely watchable in a movie. Sandler, even on a good day, would not be that good.

But this is a pretty minor distinction, cold sore vs genital wart kinda thing.

Prefer Adam Sandler movies.

Big Daddy, Mr. Deeds, Happy Gilmore, Anger Management, etc... they were good as a kid.

Tenacious D were a decent band at the time too though.

I don't particularly like either, but I'm guilty of liking a couple of their movies....pretty much the same with Will Ferrell and Ben Stiller.

I have a kid, so Jack Black kinda wins in the "laughs shared with daughter" department, but Adam has made a few legit good movies. Reign On Me, Punch Drunk, and Funny People were pretty great. However; they aren't what you think of when you think Adam Sandler movies.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

Adam sandler, only cause he has Drew Barrymore in a lot of his films. Yeah she's an ex druggies but she's purrdy ;-)

I like Adam Sandler. I like his character. I guess that makes or breaks with anyone: I don't mind his limited range. Jack Black tips the scale for me. I don't mind him, but I just don't find him funny most of the time.
