No Christianity doesn't make you black. Many black Americans do view it as a part of their racial culture though.

Race in my opinion is hardly relevant. You're the one who started this thread aren't you?

My last name isn't in Arabic or Berber.
And my first name might also be that of a copt or a maronite. Why do many people care so much about being pure (we have that in the middle east, and by the way even the "pure" are mixed)

Maybe a little, but nothing compared to the Christian majority who constantly whines about being persecuted and make up all kinds of bullshit consistently about it. This is at the same time that they will be reminding people that America is a christian country. It's a complex with them. Plus I seriously doubt that you personally know any black Atheists.

I think it is worth noting that this false dycotomy is an American Christian phenomenon in a response to cultural changes. There is legitimate persecution in many places abroad. But to that end it should also be noted that the American Christian claim of persecution does a disservice to those Christians aboard who actually suffer from it.
