I got Tomb Raider 2013 when it came out for Mac after a serious price drop. I can only imagine that it looked gorgeous on PC and last-gen, and especially in the Definitive Editions for next-gen, but I had to bump down everything to low to get it to run at 60fps, with occasional dips. Otherwise, the combat was fluid, the cover system was the best that I'd ever seen, and hunting for all the collectibles, journals, and tombs (including the DLC tomb, which was free for me) added a good six hours on top of just running through the story. Which was fantastic whenever it focused on Lara and her very believable journey, and great (but not revolutionary) with all the other characters and ideas.
Luke: You don't believe in the Force, do you?
Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.
