That is because "dopey and brash," is leagues better than "churlish and dishonest." Ham and Comfort (I want that to be a sitcom. Kent Hovind could be their landlord.) make me want to facepalm. Bruggencate makes me want to rage vomit right in his smug face.

Someone who should consider himself fortunate that Neil DeGrasse Tyson gave him any attention at all, even if it was to dismiss him as noise.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

What is with Neil deGrasse Tyson' arguing with people most of us will never meet? Is his ego that at risk?
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Did you just not read the thing? Tyson said something in a completely unconnected interview in reference to the Ham/Nye debate, and Ham's cronies rushed to assuage his ego. The only one actually arguing here is the Hamster.

Says the christian on the international Atheist Forums, completely un-ironically.

It was very good of Christianity to create the whole YEC movement just to make Pat Robertson look sane, intelligent, and stable.
