I feel your pain, DeistPaladin. I've found a YouTube link for Blood Sisters of Lesbian Sin if you and/or Clueless Morgan want to try that out, and I already feel sheepish for having rented it. XD
Luke: You don't believe in the Force, do you?
Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

I've just suggested to this group to riff on a bad Christian movie (ala Kirk Cameron in "Left Behind", etc.). There are many to choose from and I'm sure we can't go wrong with any of them, even chosen at random.
...oh and we might consider recording our riff session. I'm sure the rest of the board might be interested.

I just replied to that. Do you think we would focus only on just bad Christian films (with a name poking at religion or something?), or would we do any bad films?
I'm not sure how I would do recording, and my voice is terribly high pitched anyway, but we can definitely discuss that. I'm strongly leaning towards just having a text chat (less bandwidth costs for everybody) and posting that.

That could work just as well. And I think a focus on bad Christian (redundant) films would make a good subject matter for a skeptic group.

You should not have that trouble with any super christy jesus shit movie. They all suck.
Indeed they do. Especially anything by Ray Comfort.

It is horribly mind-numbing in its badness. It's not scary. It ends up being just plain boring.
Throughout the movie, the actors keep forgetting their lines and what they're supposed to be doing. There are numerous scenes with awkward silence where the actors and actresses are looking at each other blankly. You can almost see the thought bubbles above their heads "C'mon, your line" or "Is it my line now?"
I should emphasize it's throughout the movie that this happens. Apparently, they didn't have enough budget to either rehearse or re-shoot any of the botched scenes. It's just long and tedious, even with the MST3K robots helping out.
Sorry StealthySkeptic but I must decline. I survived that movie, even with the MST3K robots' and my friends' help about 15 years ago and I have no intention of sitting through it again.
That said, I'm interested in Skyping another bad movie at some point. There are just some movies that are so bad, they shouldn't even be watched in the spirit of parody.
What are these Mst3k robots?

If you haven't seen MST3K, you haven't lived.

MST3K had two robot puppets voiced by a couple guys who went on space adventures with their human companion in between riffing the movie of the week.
