Gordon Brown and Tony Blair are both Scottish (and arguably better than the current choice of posh bastard, hypocrite, hypocrite #2 and the guy who poses for photos in floods) , and Sean Connery is the best Bond hands down. Also, regarding cuisine; haggis is among the best foods in the world (no subjectivity there at all ), Lorne sausage is the best thing for a fry up, Aberdeen Angus is one of the best beefs and the seafood is incredible. On top of that, Scotland looks much nicer
