Yes silica is present in the wheat flower for the patties. And what would exactly be the problem with that?

http://www.buzzle.com/articles/silicon-d...-food.html

Quote:Silicon is an indispensable part of the food that we eat daily. As silicon plays a major role in development of the bones, it becomes necessary to include silicon food sources in our diet. In order to maintain healthy strong bones and joints, silicon dioxide in foods is very much essential. Along with calcium and vitamins, silicon dioxide is equally important for proper bone growth, strength and density. Deficiency of silicon can cause osteoarthritis and arthritis. Another important health benefit of silicon is that it minimizes aluminum effects on the body, thereby preventing Alzheimer's disease.

As for what is present in foods from BK and McD:

Fast food is part of the mechanism in place to (i love how apt this word is) domesticate us. Control a populations food, and you control their ability to think, act or fight. The real genius was getting people to eat that shit under their own control, and defend their right to eat shit... Genius.

I think you are the one who's undergone some serious brainwashing, and they must have scrubbed pretty damn hard, because from reading that post I could swear your frontal lobe is missing.

Please do enlighten all of us imbeciles as to just how the popularisation of fast food makes on domesticated? You may also like to explain just what your definition of 'Domesticated' is, because last time I checked the alternative to eating fast food (ie family dinners) was the thing considered domestic.

How dare they make us healthier by putting such an abundant natural resource into our food?

Damn. Well Adrian, looks like I lost.

The whole idea behind this thread was to post something I like and see how many posts (or how long) before pippy came in and said it was bad for you.

Well, he came in but just spewed another conspiracy about gummit control of the masses.

That should still count, government control of you could still be labled 'bad for you'.
I used to tell a lot of religious jokes. Not any more, I'm a registered sects offender.

I love the pictoral response! That was funny. Yes it's sand, yes it kind of counts as a mineral. I am not even trying very hard Adrian. Smile I have a lot of theories about god and reality I think you would find a riot.

Hasn't there already been a couple of make-pippy-look-silly threads? We should find something that we can all agree on, so as to brighten the mood. I like... ... not February? This is literally a hard time of year to survive.

I don't mean domesticated like domicile, but like animals. The gradual changes that happened to dogs, cats, cows and many other animals as they became domesticated. The change of the genetic and physical functions over generations. Living an unhealthy lifestyle may have an impact on the ability for your potential children and hypothetical grandchildren to be as smart/fit/able as possible. And if they inherit the same lifestyles, the whole of the human race (other than us loons that don't eat McDonals) will be all fat and gray and shit. Like that movie.

They don't usually start out as make-pippy-look-silly threads, you manage that all on your own Smile

Also, being unhealthy will not at all impact upon the genetic information passed to future generations, only genetic mutations can cause that. It would be akin to suggesting that a quadruple amputee has a higher chance of having a child without limbs.

Ew, processed cheese or (aka easy cheese) on a salad?!?

Processed cheese is best on crackers imo, and they are good snack food when you have the munchies.

Yeah that's what i was thinking about Tongue

I've never tried Cheese from a can, i don't even like the individually wrapped cheese slices which apparently taste a lot better, the cheapest Cheese i go near is Edam or Colby, not exactly nice cheeses but at least it's real.
