As for me, I'll keep not believing untill some evidence is brought to me. As to doubt, that only pertains to things that we do have some evidence for, but not enough to make a conclusion. Kinda like dark matter and other stuff like that. To all accounts, the amount of evidence for a god or gods is zero, I don't consider so-called holy books, edited to support whatever political status at a given time as evidence. Many moderate religious people bank on faith. Faith will never cut it for me.

With Jesus there is no liberal, conservative or moderate--we're either for him or against him. We can present evidence to support our beliefs, but we can only come to him through faith.

Your brain farts do not constitute evidence.

You have fallen for a load of shit, pal. Don't be surprised when others reject it for what it is.

What others accept or reject doesn't effect my decision to be a christian, Mini.

That's obvious.

If something dealing with a supposedly factual matter can in principle only be arrived at by faith, then that is direct evidence that that thing is wrong to believe.

Some atheists don't believe in god(s), some atheists claim to know that god(s) don't exist ... but none say they don't believe god(s) don't exist, given the fact that atheism is a disbelief in god(s).

Looking for evidence would seem to be a lack of faith.

That's the way you view it. I see evidence in the scriptures, testimony from others as to their experience, and my own experience. But that isn't solid proof. I must take the leap of faith.

The evidence is often what brings us to faith.

Some atheists certainly do believe that God (whichever god you prefer) does not exist. Those I can think of never seem to worry much about doubt.

I'm the kind of atheist who does not believe that God doesn't exist. I know nothing about any god including what would count as one.

I don't lack doubt that I may not know everything. I know for a fact I do not know everything. However, whether or not any god-things exist is nothing I devote any time worrying about. They don't deserve any doubt.

Of course, why else do you think your position has been categorically dismissed?
